The 1st annual Langstone Harbour Race Weekend was a roaring success with over 70 boats competing for prize wear during the late Many Bank holiday weekend. The event is hosted by the three main sailing clubs which share the waters in Langstone Harbour; Locks SC, Langstone SC and Tudor SC.

The event welcomes dinghy sailors from all across the south coast to compete in the series of exciting races held within the harbour over the May bank holiday weekend. There will be prizes for classes and daily races.

There will also be an evening social event at each club, offering a mixture of entertainment to sailors and their families after the sun sets on the racing activities.

Following the success of our first year (2009), we are currently in the process of organising the 2010 event. The tides are looking good for the Spring bank holiday weekend again, so make sure you keep the weekend of the 31st May 2010 free! |
